Dolphins Bring Back Kion Smith to Practice Squad

The Miami Dolphins have re-signed offensive lineman Kion Smith to their practice squad. The 27-year-old was brought back after being released late last week to make room for other players.
Smith, who originally joined the Dolphins in September 2021, saw his first regular season action in 2023. This current season, he appeared in 11 games, including two starts at right guard, and played 70 offensive snaps in the previous year.
In a corresponding move, Miami released another offensive lineman, Braeden Daniels, from the practice squad. Tight end Hayden Rucci, who was also cut last week, has since been claimed by the Detroit Lions.
