Mitch Voit, a promising young player, has made an explosive start in his transition to Double-A Binghamton within the New York Mets organization. Voit, who is the No. 6 prospect in the organization, has earned the Eastern League Player of the Week award in each of his first two weeks at this level. This demonstrates a remarkable immediate success.

During the week of August 3 to August 9, Voit's performance was exceptional. He recorded 11 hits in 18 at-bats, boasting a .682 on-base percentage and a staggering 1.460 OPS over five games. His offensive prowess was highlighted by a standout performance on August 6, where he achieved 5 hits and scored 5 runs, matching the Binghamton franchise record for both categories.

Voit's consistency at the plate is evident, as he has reached base in all 11 of his Double-A games and secured a hit in nine of them. His current .550 batting average and 1.483 OPS at this level showcase his immediate impact. Voit was originally drafted 38th overall in the 2025 draft after his collegiate career at the University of Michigan.
