Despite his impressive record of 41 goals in 41 games this season, Mbappe's commitment has been questioned amid the club's performance. Real Madrid is set to finish another year without any trophies, a situation that has fueled discontent, particularly after their recent loss to rivals Barcelona.

Club president Florentino Perez recently held a press conference to address what he described as attempts to undermine the club. The criticism intensified when photos of Mbappe on a yacht emerged while he was on injury leave, coinciding with a Real Madrid match.

Upon his return from a thigh injury as a substitute, Mbappe was greeted by jeers. Stewards also removed a fan banner expressing unhappiness with the club's leadership. However, goals from Gonzalo Garcia and Jude Bellingham secured the win against the already relegated opponents.
