Maximilian Ibrahimović, the 19-year-old son of football icon Zlatan Ibrahimović, has moved to Dutch club Ajax on loan from AC Milan. This move sees him join a club where his father previously played, aiming to develop his own career path.
Italian media reports indicate Ajax paid 3.5 million euros for the loan, with an option to purchase Maximilian permanently at the end of the season. Ajax's football director, Marijn Beuker, praised the young forward's talent, positioning, and goal-scoring ability, while noting his strong mentality.
Though he has progressed through AC Milan's youth ranks, Maximilian has yet to debut for the senior team, scoring five goals in 16 matches for Milan Futuro this season. He will initially play with Ajax U23, with potential movement to the first team to adapt to higher intensity.
