Homa Switches Caddies Again Amidst Winless Streak
28 May
Summary
- Max Homa has changed caddies for the third time in roughly a year.
- His latest split is with caddie Lance Bennett after a missed cut.
- Peter Pappageorge, a close friend, will caddie for Homa this week.

Golfer Max Homa, currently ranked 163rd in the world, has changed caddies for the third time in less than a year. He recently parted ways with Lance Bennett following his missed cut at the 2026 PGA Championship held at Aronimink Golf Club. Bennett had been with Homa for close to a year, joining him in 2025.
This latest change comes after Homa previously split with Joe Greiner in April 2025, who had been his caddie for all six of his PGA Tour victories. Bill Harke briefly replaced Greiner before Bennett took over. Now, Peter Pappageorge, a close friend of Homa's, will be on the bag for the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club, running from May 28th to 31st, 2026.
Homa's performance and qualification for upcoming events, such as the U.S. Open, remain a concern given his current slump. The partnership with Pappageorge marks a new chapter as Homa seeks to regain form.
