Summary

Matt Nagy appointed New York Giants' new offensive coordinator.
Nagy previously coached the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs.
He will develop young talent like Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers.

Matt Nagy has officially accepted the role of offensive coordinator for the New York Giants. This appointment follows Nagy's departure from the Kansas City Chiefs, where his tenure as offensive coordinator yielded mixed results, including two Super Bowl appearances and one win. During his three seasons with the Chiefs, the offense ranked, on average, 15th in yards and 17th in points.

Nagy also had a previous head coaching stint with the Chicago Bears from 2018 to 2021. His opportunity with the Giants presents a new challenge, focusing on developing a young offense featuring players like Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers, and Cam Skattebo. Nagy's coaching style is seen as potentially more nurturing for these developing prospects, reminiscent of his success with players like Mitchell Trubisky and Tarik Cohen.
