Fennell Flips: Stanford Steals FSU Recruit

Three-star running back Marquis Fennell has committed to the Stanford Cardinal, choosing them over Florida State, Georgia Tech, and Colorado. This decision came as a surprise, as Florida State had previously held the sole prediction to land him. Fennell, a product of Valdosta, Georgia, is recognized as the No. 629 player in the country and the No. 40 athlete according to 247Sports composite rankings, also ranking as the No. 75 prospect in Georgia.

Fennell brings a versatile skill set, excelling as both a rusher and a receiver. His impressive stats include 1,480 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns, along with 764 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 53 receptions. While missing out on Fennell is a notable setback for Florida State, the Seminoles have still experienced a successful week in recruitment, having recently gained commitments from three-star linebacker CJ Ohuabunwa and four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJeune.
