Marques Bolden's NBA path has been a winding one, beginning after he went undrafted from Duke. He debuted in the 2019-20 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, playing sparingly before spending subsequent seasons in the G-League. The 2023-24 season offered renewed NBA opportunities, including brief stints with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Charlotte Hornets. With the Hornets, Bolden played nine games, starting two, and contributed 4.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest.

After his NBA appearances, Bolden played with the Santa Cruz Warriors during the 2025-26 season. At 28 years old, his career continues overseas as he has signed a professional contract abroad, marking a transition from his NBA and G-League experiences.
