Egypt's Star Subbed: Marmoush Benched vs Argentina

Egypt is set to compete in a historic match, facing Argentina in their first-ever World Cup Round of 16 fixture. The team will not have Omar Marmoush in the starting lineup, a change from their previous games. Marmoush, who has started all four matches for Egypt so far, will be on the bench for this crucial encounter.

Despite not being injured, Marmoush's absence from the starting XI is a tactical choice made by head coach Hossam Hassan. The player is expected to feature later in the second half. Egypt secured their place in the Round of 16 by defeating Australia in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in their previous match.
