The Seattle Mariners, fresh off a 2025 season that saw them reach Game 7 of the ALCS, are poised to contend for the World Series in 2026. The front office has made strategic moves, securing Josh Naylor on a long-term deal and adding versatile player Brendan Donovan. These additions, alongside the return of Cal Raleigh, who set a record with 60 home runs as a switch hitter, aim to elevate the team from "good" to "October-proof."
For the upcoming season, a new broadcasting option, Mariners.TV, has been introduced, operated by Major League Baseball. This service will be available to fans in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, Montana, and Hawaii, as well as British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, with no local blackouts. Mariners.TV can be accessed through participating cable and satellite providers or via a direct-to-consumer subscription starting at $19.99 per month. It can also be bundled with MLB.TV for $199.99 per season.
Fans outside the Mariners' local broadcast region will continue to rely on MLB.TV, priced at $134.99 annually for ESPN Unlimited subscribers and $149.99 for others. National broadcasts will be distributed across various networks, including ABC, ESPN, Fox, FS1, Apple TV's "Friday Night Baseball," MLB Network, NBC, Peacock, Netflix, and TBS, each offering different viewing options and subscription requirements.
