Pacquiao Exhibition Fight Officially Unconfirmed
25 Feb
Summary
- Pacquiao's next exhibition fight is not officially confirmed by his promotion CEO.
- A previously announced April 18 exhibition against Ruslan Provodnikov is under consideration.
- Pacquiao is slated for a Sept. 19 rematch against Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas.

Manny Pacquiao's highly anticipated rematch against Floyd Mayweather, scheduled for September 19, is moving forward, but details surrounding Pacquiao's potential exhibition bout beforehand are still uncertain. Pacquiao Promotions CEO Jas Mathur clarified that an announced April 18 exhibition against Ruslan Provodnikov is "not official," despite being offered for sale on Pacquiao's website.
Mathur indicated that while an exhibition is likely to occur before the September 19 clash with Mayweather, the opponent is not definitively Provodnikov, who has not competed since 2016. Separately, Floyd Mayweather is expected to participate in an exhibition match against Mike Tyson in the spring, though specifics for that fight are yet to be announced. Pacquiao's last fight was a majority draw in July 2025 against Mario Barrios.
