Carrick's United Held Again: Winless Streak Hits Six Games

Michael Carrick's quest for improvement at Manchester United faced another hurdle as Leeds United secured a 1-1 draw at Elland Road. The result extended United's winless run across all competitions to six matches.

Bryan Mbeumo netted the opening goal for Manchester United just before halftime. However, Leeds responded after the break, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring the equalizer in the 51st minute. This marks a continued period of difficulty for United.

The draw leaves Manchester United in 13th place in the Premier League standings. Leeds, meanwhile, sits seventh, three points ahead of their rivals. The team's inability to convert promising positions into victories remains a significant concern for Carrick.

Leeds demonstrated resilience, remaining unbeaten at home since March. Their second-half performance offered encouragement, though the focus will inevitably return to Manchester United's ongoing challenges and their failure to secure a crucial win.
