Curtis, who previously managed the Under-21 team for four matches after Travis Binnion's promotion, is set to work under former United academy head Nick Cox at Everton. Cox joined the Merseyside club last year as technical director and has been actively recruiting new staff for their academy system.
Dave Hughes, formerly an assistant coach for United's U21s, is also expected to manage the same age group at Everton. Curtis's departure comes as Manchester United prepares to formally announce Adam Lawrence's permanent stay as U21 manager. Curtis initially joined Manchester United in November 2024, holding a development role for the U13 and U16 age groups.
