Brazilian footballer Malcom de Oliveira has left Saudi club Al-Hilal following a mutual agreement to end his contract. The winger, who joined in the summer of 2023, agreed to terminate his deal despite an initial desire to remain with the team.
Following his departure from Al-Hilal, Malcom quickly joined UAE's Al-Jazira and participated in their 2-0 victory against Sharjah. During this time, a video emerged showing Malcom reacting emotionally when a fan asked for a message to Al-Hilal supporters, stating his affection for the "real fans."
Reports indicate that Malcom's relationship with a large segment of Al-Hilal's fanbase deteriorated, particularly during his second season. This friction, fueled by disappointing domestic and Asian results, is cited as the main catalyst for his exit from the club.
