LSU baseball infielder Trent Caraway has entered the transfer portal for a second time, according to a report on June 2, 2026. Caraway transferred to LSU from Oregon State just last year.
During the 2026 season, Caraway appeared in 30 games, starting 24. He recorded a .243 batting average and a .713 OPS. His performance included two home runs and 16 RBIs. Caraway was a starter early in the season but became a rotational player during conference games.
Caraway was one of several offensive transfers LSU signed in 2025 to bolster the lineup. Like many newcomers, he struggled with consistency throughout the year. The transfer portal officially opened on Monday and will remain open throughout June.
