Former Utah running back Raycine Guillory has officially transferred to LSU, bolstering the team's roster. Guillory, who made only one appearance for the Utes recording four yards on one carry, was a highly-touted prospect, ranked as the No. 60 running back in the 2026 Transfer Portal player rankings by On3.
This commitment signifies LSU's second transfer portal acquisition this offseason, with wide receiver Jackson Harris also joining the program. The team is embarking on a new chapter under head coach Lane Kiffin, who was appointed in November and has committed to a substantial seven-year, $91 million contract.
Kiffin expressed his ambition to restore LSU to championship-contending status, highlighting the program's inherent potential. Having previously coached at five different institutions, including leading Ole Miss to their first College Football Playoff appearance, Kiffin aims to replicate that success with the Tigers, who have not reached the CFP since their national championship win in 2019.
