Indiana Poaches Louisville Assistant Carr

Louisville men's basketball is experiencing its first significant offseason change with the departure of assistant coach Thomas Carr. Carr is moving to a comparable position with Indiana, a move confirmed by multiple reports. He has been an assistant under Pat Kelsey for four seasons, including the last two at Louisville and the two prior at Charleston.

Carr's contributions were recognized in January when he was named to Silver Waves Media's 2026 100 Most Impactful High Major Assistants List for his work with the Cardinals. Pat Kelsey has previously praised Carr's extensive recruiting network and his ability to build strong relationships with players.
