Slippery Rock University's Logan Gossard has been recognized as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference male indoor field athlete of the week. The sophomore athlete delivered a standout performance at the Haynes Lancaster Open.
Gossard recorded a new personal best in the pole vault, clearing 4.95 meters. This achievement not only secured him the weekly conference honor but also met the NCAA standard for the event. His vault currently ranks him second within the PSAC and ninth overall in NCAA Division II.
The Slippery Rock team is currently observing its winter break, a month-long hiatus between semesters. They are scheduled to return to competition on January 16th at Youngstown State University.
