Liverpool eye Camavinga swap for Mac Allister
30 Oct
Summary
- Liverpool may consider a swap deal involving Alexis Mac Allister.
- Real Madrid reportedly admire Alexis Mac Allister and could pursue him.
- Eduardo Camavinga is a potential target for Liverpool in a swap.
Liverpool could be presented with a major swap opportunity involving Real Madrid. While Alexis Mac Allister has not yet secured a new contract, his departure is considered a 'concrete possibility,' with Real Madrid reportedly showing significant interest.
This situation opens a pathway for Liverpool to pursue Eduardo Camavinga from Real Madrid. Camavinga, rated highly as a defensive midfielder, could be an ideal acquisition for Liverpool's midfield rebuild.
Although losing Mac Allister would be difficult, as he has been a standout performer, the new contracts of Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai make his retention challenging. A swap for Camavinga would substantially mitigate the impact of Mac Allister's potential exit.
