Arne Slot Stands by Liverpool's Struggling New Signing Milos Kerkez

As of October 26th, 2025, Liverpool manager Arne Slot has expressed his continued support for new signing Milos Kerkez, who has faced a difficult start to his tenure at the Premier League champions. Kerkez, a Hungarian left-back, joined Liverpool earlier this year with high expectations, having excelled at Bournemouth last season. He was viewed as the natural successor to the ageing Andy Robertson, but the transition has not been as smooth as anticipated.

Despite Kerkez's struggles, Slot has stood by the player, acknowledging that it can take time for new signings to fully integrate into the team. The manager remains confident in Kerkez's abilities and believes that with continued support and patience, the young defender will eventually find his footing at Anfield.

Liverpool fans will be hoping that Kerkez can turn things around in the coming weeks and months, as the club looks to defend their Premier League title and make a deep run in the Champions League. Slot's unwavering support for the player could be a crucial factor in helping Kerkez overcome his early challenges and establish himself as a key member of the Liverpool squad.
