Gary Lineker believes Cristiano Ronaldo has unfollowed him on Instagram, attributing the action to Lineker's consistent praise for Lionel Messi over Ronaldo. Lineker stated on a podcast that his candid assessment of Messi as the better footballer, despite meeting Ronaldo numerous times, has caused a rift. He humorously appealed for reconciliation.
In separate comments, former player Bradley Wright-Phillips advised Cristiano Ronaldo against joining Major League Soccer.
