Summary
- Manager Farke received a one-match ban for approaching the referee.
- The ban prevents him from the touchline for the FA Cup game.
- He accepted a 8,000 pound fine to avoid a longer suspension.

Leeds manager Daniel Farke has received a one-match ban, preventing him from being on the touchline for Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round match against Norwich. This disciplinary action stems from his actions immediately after Leeds' 1-0 Premier League defeat to Manchester City last weekend, where he was shown a red card by referee Peter Bankes.
Farke accepted the Football Association's sanction, which also includes a fine of 8,000 pounds ($10,600), opting to avoid the risk of a two-match suspension. The German coach had previously defended his brief on-pitch excursion, stating his intention was merely to inquire about added time, emphasizing no offensive language was used before the referee produced the red card.
This ban comes as Leeds United faces a challenging period, currently sitting just three points above the relegation zone in the Premier League. Their next league fixture is scheduled for March 15 at Crystal Palace.
