Leclerc Lashes Out at Engineer Amid Tense Battle with Verstappen at 2025 Belgian GP

In the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc managed to hold off a late charge from Red Bull's Max Verstappen to claim the final podium position. Leclerc had qualified third, just 0.003 seconds ahead of Verstappen, and was able to maintain that position at the start of the race.
As the race progressed, Leclerc came under increasing pressure from Verstappen, who had closed to within a second of the Ferrari driver. Leclerc's race engineer, Bryan Bozzi, informed him of the gap to Verstappen, but the Monegasque driver lashed out, asking to be left alone and saying he didn't want too much information when Verstappen was getting close.
Despite the tense exchange, Leclerc was able to hold on to third place, finishing behind race-winner Oscar Piastri and second-placed Lando Norris. Leclerc later reflected on the "tricky" battle with Verstappen, saying it was crucial to keep the four-time world champion behind in the early stages of the race.
