Late Stoppage-Time Goal Denies Wycombe Victory at Plymouth

Wycombe Wanderers manager Michael Duff voiced his frustration after a late equalizer by Plymouth Argyle prevented his team from securing a victory. Dan Casey's 11th-minute goal had given Wycombe a promising start, but Bim Pepple's header in the fifth minute of stoppage time snatched a 1-1 draw for the hosts.

Duff lamented the missed chance to extend their lead over the bottom four, stating the team controlled much of the match despite facing injuries. He noted that despite Plymouth's territory, their goalkeeper made few saves, while Wycombe had promising counter-attack moments they failed to convert.

Plymouth manager Tom Cleverley acknowledged his team's initial performance dip but praised their second-half reaction and Pepple's crucial goal. The draw, however, means Argyle remains in the bottom four, though they have secured 10 points from their last five games, showing improved form.
