Lakers, Warriors Clash Amidst Key Injuries

With only three games remaining in the NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers are traveling to face the Golden State Warriors on April 9, 2026. The Lakers have secured a playoff berth and are positioned as a top-5 seed in the Western Conference. The Warriors have clinched a Play-In tournament appearance and are likely headed for the No. 10 seed.

Both teams are dealing with significant injury concerns. The Lakers will be missing Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, both sidelined for weeks due to hamstring and oblique strains, respectively. Golden State anticipates the return of star player Steph Curry, who has been recovering from a knee injury. The game is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. ET and will be streamed on Prime Video from Chase Center in San Francisco.
