- Clippers start season 1-2, seeking consistency at Intuit Dome.

The Los Angeles Lakers, boasting an undefeated 3-0 record, are set to face their crosstown rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers, on October 28, 2026. This highly anticipated matchup will take place at the Intuit Dome, the Clippers' home arena. The Lakers currently lead the Pacific Division, while the Clippers, with a 1-2 record, are looking to find consistency after an uneven start to their season.
The Lakers' perfect start is anchored by Luka Dončić, supported by players like Austin Reaves and Collin Sexton. Their defense, bolstered by Walker Kessler's rim protection, has contributed to a +39 point differential. The Clippers rely on a veteran backcourt of Darius Garland and Bradley Beal, with a frontcourt featuring Brandon Ingram and Rui Hachimura, aiming to overcome their current struggles and a +10 differential.
For the Lakers, a win would solidify their strong start and send a message in the division. Conversely, a loss for the Clippers would put them at 1-3, three games behind the Lakers, intensifying pressure on a roster built for immediate contention. The game is scheduled to tip off at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
