Kylian Mbappe was forced off the pitch during Real Madrid's 1-1 draw with Real Betis on Friday due to muscular discomfort. The star forward was replaced in the 81st minute, and coach Alvaro Arbeloa expressed uncertainty about the severity of the issue.

This potential injury is particularly concerning given its timing, with France's 2026 World Cup campaign set to commence against Senegal on June 16, just 53 days away. Mbappe has previously dealt with a left knee problem this season, which has led to several short absences.

Despite these concerns, Mbappe has maintained an impressive record for Madrid this season, scoring 41 goals in 41 appearances. His contributions are vital for both Real Madrid and the French national team, where he serves as captain and has netted 56 goals in 96 international games.
