The Atlanta Falcons have reached a three-year agreement with tight end Kyle Pitts, valued at $54 million. This new deal, which includes a reported $36 million in guaranteed money, will keep Pitts with the team through the 2028 season. His average annual salary of $18 million is the third-highest among NFL tight ends, trailing only George Kittle and Trey McBride. This contract replaces the franchise tag Atlanta had placed on Pitts earlier in the offseason. The deadline for a resolution was July 15. Pitts, 25, had a standout performance last season, earning second-team All-Pro honors with 928 receiving yards, 88 receptions, and five touchdowns. He was also a Pro Bowl selection as a rookie in 2021. The Falcons also recently extended receiver Drake London's contract.
