Krépin Diatta has officially left AS Monaco after his contract with the club expired on Tuesday. Diatta initially joined Les Monégasques in 2021 from Club Brugge for a transfer fee of €16 million.
During his tenure, Diatta, who can play on both wings and at full-back, proved to be a versatile squad player. He featured in 22 matches last season, his final campaign with the club. In total, he accumulated 143 appearances across all competitions, netting eight goals and registering nine assists.
Currently, Diatta is representing Senegal at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup. His departure follows other player movements, as Monaco opted not to trigger buy options for loan players Simon Adingra and Wout Faes, while retaining Ansu Fati.
