Tonga Aims to Learn from Pro Bowl Teammate Jones

Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga is making the most of training camp by focusing on learning from his highly decorated teammates. Tonga specifically highlighted his admiration for Chris Jones, a perennial Pro Bowl selection, emphasizing his desire to absorb Jones's techniques on both run and pass rushes.

Tonga, who joined the Chiefs on a three-year contract valued at $21 million with $14 million guaranteed, believes playing alongside Jones elevates the entire defensive line. He acknowledged the importance of capitalizing on opportunities when they arise, especially if Jones is drawing attention.

He also credited the Chiefs' coaching staff, including Coach Terry Bradden and Fellowship Coach Barry Cofield, for their guidance in helping him understand his defensive role and refine his technique.
