Kennesaw State Owls Soar to the Top of Conference USA

As of October 22nd, 2025, the Kennesaw State Owls have emerged as a force to be reckoned with in Conference USA. After going 2-10 last season, the Owls have turned things around, now standing at 4-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

The one bright spot heading into the season was that the Owls were returning more players than anyone else in their conference. While that was not initially viewed as a major positive, it has clearly paid dividends, as the team has found its stride.

Alongside Jacksonville State, the Owls now sit atop the Conference USA standings. However, there is still plenty of season left, and a showdown with the FIU Panthers at Pitbull Stadium in Miami looms on the horizon.

The Owls are coming off a dominant 35-7 victory over Louisiana Tech, a statement win that has further bolstered their position. With four straight wins, all by at least seven points, Kennesaw State has proven its mettle and established itself as a team to watch in the conference.
