Kansas Jayhawks Seek Bounce-Back Victory Against UCF Knights

On October 5th, 2025, the Kansas Jayhawks football team will travel to Orlando, Florida, to take on the UCF Knights in a Big 12 Conference matchup. The Jayhawks (3-2, 1-1 in Big 12) are coming off a loss at home against Cincinnati, while UCF (3-1, 0-1) is looking to bounce back from a defeat on the road against Kansas State.

Kansas coach Lance Leipold is expecting a tough challenge from the UCF offense, which he says reflects the speed and prowess that Scott Frost's teams have had over the years. Leipold has also studied tape of Frost's time at Nebraska, and anticipates a better showing from his Jayhawks squad compared to their previous loss.

McDonald believes the offense doesn't change much regardless of who's under center.
