Summary
- Striker Arnaud Kalimuendo nearing loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
- Nottingham Forest included Kalimuendo in matchday squad.
- Loan deal includes an option to buy for the German club.
Arnaud Kalimuendo is on the cusp of joining Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, with the Bundesliga club holding an option to purchase him outright. His inclusion in Nottingham Forest's recent matchday squad had raised some questions, but the move to Germany is reportedly still on track.
According to reports, the transfer could be finalized by Monday if all arrangements proceed as planned. Kalimuendo would join a Frankfurt side currently competing for a Champions League spot in the German league.
This potential move marks a swift end to his tenure in the Premier League, having been a target for English clubs, including Leeds United, prior to his arrival last summer. Frankfurt's track record of developing strikers like Omar Marmoush and Hugo Ekitike may prove appealing.
