15 Nov
Summary
- Kai Trump, 18, made LPGA debut at Annika Pro-Am
- Missed cut by 17 strokes, finished last among 108 participants
- Gained experience playing alongside LPGA pros
On November 13, 2025, Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, made her LPGA debut at the Annika Pro-Am tournament in Belleair, Florida. Trump was awarded one of three sponsor's invites to compete in the event.
While Trump struggled with nerves in her opening round on Thursday, shooting a 13-over 83, she rebounded with a 5-over 75 on Friday. However, her two-round total of 18-over was not enough to make the cut, which was set at 1-over. Trump finished last among the 108 participants, missing the cut by 17 strokes.
Despite the disappointing result, Trump said she had a "great time" and the "experience has been amazing." She was particularly impressed by the consistency of the LPGA professionals, noting that even when they missed shots, they were still able to land on the green. Trump said this is an area she needs to work on, especially her short game, as she prepares to play golf at the University of Miami next year.
