J.P. Licks is set to launch a special collection of seven ice cream flavors, named "J.P. Licks World Futbol Flavors," to commemorate the 2026 FIFA World Cup. These unique flavors will be available starting June 3, 2026, at all J.P. Licks locations throughout Massachusetts.
The inspiration for these limited-edition flavors comes from desserts, beverages, and culinary traditions of countries participating in the tournament, particularly those with matches scheduled in the Boston area. J.P. Licks CEO and Founder Vincent Petryk stated that the company enjoys creating flavors that connect with community events.
Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, is scheduled to host seven World Cup matches between June 13 and July 9, 2026. This includes a quarterfinal match on July 9, 2026. The new ice cream flavors aim to capture the international excitement.
Among the featured flavors are Oatmeal Whiskey & Honey, inspired by Scotland; Caramel Beurre Salé from France; Cardamom Strawberry Swirl, reflecting Norwegian traditions; Sticky Toffee Pudding, an English classic; Akasan, a Haitian beverage-inspired creation; Pineapple Coconut Sherbert, honoring Ghana; and Moroccan Mint Tea Sorbet.
