Joyce Nears Return After Shoulder Surgery

Joyce, who underwent labrum repair surgery on his shoulder in May of last year, is nearing a return to the mound. He has been actively throwing bullpens as part of his rehabilitation process, with his most recent session occurring on Tuesday. Despite this positive progression, the reliever is expected to begin the regular season on the injured list. His absence is not anticipated to be lengthy, and he could rapidly ascend to high-leverage roles once cleared for game action.
