14 Mar
Summary
- Andre Cisco re-signed with the Jets for one year.
- His new deal is worth up to $5.25 million.
- He aims for a career resurgence in 2026.

The New York Jets have made another defensive addition by agreeing to terms with Andre Cisco on a one-year contract. This deal is reportedly worth up to $5.25 million, a discount from his previous agreement. Cisco, who is set to turn 26 at the end of March, suffered a pectoral tear in late October of the 2025 season after playing only eight games.
Drafted in 2021, Cisco spent four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he recorded a career-high four interceptions in 2023 and consistently made over 60 tackles. He is expected to compete for the starting strong safety spot alongside Minkah Fitzpatrick. With this signing, the Jets continue to re-tool their secondary, and all eyes will be on Cisco as he enters another contract year with a lot to prove in 2026.
