21 May
Summary
- Jared McCain excels with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
- Philadelphia 76ers missed the playoffs after trading him.
- 76ers received draft picks for McCain, a 2024 first-rounder.
Jared McCain has quickly established himself as a valuable asset for the Oklahoma City Thunder, contributing as a sharpshooter off the bench. This development is particularly notable as the Philadelphia 76ers, who traded McCain, failed to reach the playoffs. The 76ers are currently watching the postseason after their elimination.
McCain, originally selected 16th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, had shown significant promise with the 76ers before injuries derailed his early career. Despite his potential, he fell out of rotation and was ultimately traded for future draft considerations. The 76ers received one first-round pick and three second-round picks in the deal.
