Japan Aims to Shock Brazil in World Cup Upset

He attributed this growth to the Japanese players' inherent talent, discipline, and tactical intelligence, now coupled with two decades of international experience.

Despite their advancements, Troussier realistically suggested that Japan might lack the squad depth to win multiple knockout matches consecutively, indicating that further improvement at a personal level for the players would be necessary for them to ultimately contend for the World Cup.
