Summary
- Jahiem White transfers to North Texas after knee injury.
- He finished his West Virginia career with 1,819 rushing yards.
- White will reunite with former West Virginia coaches.

Jahiem White's promising tenure with West Virginia football concluded prematurely due to a severe knee injury sustained in the second week of the past season. This unforeseen event halted his trajectory toward becoming one of the program's all-time top running backs. White has now officially departed the West Virginia program.
He is set to join North Texas, where he will play under former West Virginia head coach Neal Brown and running backs coach Chad Scott. White had developed a strong rapport with these coaches during his time at WVU. The transfer is seen as a major gain for North Texas, as they rebuild their running back corps after multiple players entered the transfer portal recently.
During his time at West Virginia, White amassed 1,819 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, alongside 27 receptions for 262 yards and three scores. He concludes his career with the Mountaineers as the 27th all-time leading rusher. White retains two years of collegiate eligibility for his time with North Texas.
