To facilitate the extensive work, the Jaguars will temporarily relocate 150 miles away to Orlando's Camping World Stadium for the entire 2027 season. This move allows for the final touches on owner Shad Khan's masterplan to be completed. Construction is already underway, with excavators seen removing seats from the lower bowl, which is expected to be completed before football returns, shifting work to the upper sections of the stadium.
Fans should be aware that the stadium's capacity will be reduced from over 67,000 to around 43,000 due to the renovations. Furthermore, construction on the North End zone will unfortunately make popular fan amenities, such as cabanas and pools, inaccessible. Owner Shad Khan also commented that while the stadium's design makes it eligible to host a Super Bowl, the city's current infrastructure is not yet sufficient to support such a large-scale event.
