Summary
- Four-star EDGE JaBarrius Garror decommitted from Alabama.
- Garror had been committed to the Crimson Tide for over 18 months.
- Auburn, Texas, and Texas A&M are strong contenders for Garror.

Four-star EDGE JaBarrius Garror announced his decommitment from Alabama on Saturday, ending an 18-month pledge to the Crimson Tide. Garror, initially one of Kalen DeBoer's early commits, had consistently explored other options during his commitment.
He had scheduled official visits with in-state rival Auburn, as well as Texas and Texas A&M. Auburn has been particularly aggressive in trying to secure a commitment from Garror, impressed by his connection with defensive ends coach Coleman Hutzler. Garror highlighted Hutzler's coaching ability and detailed pass-rush techniques.
Despite other strong interest, the Texas programs also remain significant contenders. Garror's performance as a junior was stellar, recording 106 tackles, 32.5 tackles for loss, and 21 sacks, earning him Alabama's statewide defensive lineman of the year award. He is ranked nationally as the No. 10 edge rusher.
