The 41-year-old artist brings prior basketball experience from playing in the Basketball Africa League in 2021 and the Canadian Elite Basketball League in 2022. In the Basketball Africa League, he played three games for the Rwanda Patriots, averaging 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds. He also played five games for the Scarborough Shooting Stars in Canada, averaging 2.4 points and 0.6 rebounds.
