Iwo Baraniewski, an undefeated prospect, has quickly made a name for himself in the UFC. He secured his contract with a 20-second knockout on Contender Series last year. Since then, Baraniewski has maintained his momentum with two additional first-round finishes in the UFC, accumulating a total fight time of just 1:57 across these bouts.
On Saturday night, the 27-year-old fighter extended his winning streak by defeating Junior Tafa in only 85 seconds. Baraniewski utilized powerful leg kicks, which quickly incapacitated Tafa. After Tafa was sent to the canvas, Baraniewski followed up with a barrage of punches, leading to the stoppage.
Following his dominant performance, Baraniewski, now 9-0 professionally, humorously stated he doesn't know what a second round entails. He also issued a challenge, calling for a fight against a top 15 opponent in his next outing. All of Baraniewski's professional victories have concluded in the first round.
