Summary

- Matches include Women's European Qualifier and Men's World Cup.
- Schedule changes vary across Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

ITV has announced temporary schedule adjustments for its popular soap operas, Emmerdale and Coronation Street. These changes are in response to broadcasting major soccer matches, including a Women's European Qualifier and the Men's World Cup.
On Tuesday, June 9, the England vs. Ukraine Women's European Qualifier will preempt the usual 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. slots for Emmerdale and Coronation Street, respectively. Wednesday, June 10, sees the Men's England v Costa Rica match necessitating earlier airings for both soaps, at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Further disruptions occur on Thursday, June 11, with the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony and its first match causing no new episodes of either soap to be shown.
Both Emmerdale and Coronation Street will return on Friday, June 12, with extended hour-long episodes airing at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. respectively. Additionally, no new episodes will be broadcast on Sunday, June 14.
