Inter Milan Keeper Faces Homicide Probe After Deadly Crash

On October 25, 2025, Inter Milan goalkeeper Josep Martinez was involved in a tragic car accident that claimed the life of an 81-year-old man. The incident occurred in the commune of Fenegro, near Como, as Martinez was driving his electric BYD SUV to the team's training ground.

According to the investigation, the victim, Paolo Saibene, was using a motorized wheelchair in the cycle lane when he veered into the path of Martinez's vehicle.
