IndyCar Races into College Football Rivalry

IndyCar is enhancing the excitement around the No. 4 Ohio State at No. 5 Indiana college football game this weekend. IndyCar has partnered with Indiana University athletics, featuring five-time NTT IndyCar Series Champion Alex Palou. Palou was designated as an "honorary driver" for IU's mascot, "Hoosier the Bison," who typically leads the team onto the field.

As part of this collaboration, a custom IU-themed firesuit and helmet were created for Palou. He is scheduled to appear on FOX's Big Noon Kickoff pre-game show, further exposing IndyCar to a significant college football audience. This initiative is a continuation of a growing relationship between IndyCar, based in Indianapolis, and Indiana University in Bloomington.
