India's premier men's doubles pair, Manush Shah and Manav Thakkar, have successfully advanced to the quarterfinals of the ongoing Singapore Smash. This dominant performance concluded in a mere 24 minutes.
Their next challenge in the last-eight fixture will be against the Belgian pair of Martin Allegro and Adrien Rassenfosse. In contrast, the Indian contingent experienced a setback in the women's doubles as Diya Chitale and Yashaswini Ghorpade were eliminated in the round of 16. They suffered a 0-3 defeat against the formidable fourth-seeded Japanese-Korean pair, Miyu Nagasaki and Shin Yubin.
Despite this, Diya Chitale's campaign continues as she is set to compete in the mixed doubles quarterfinals on Wednesday. Partnering with Manush Shah, the sixth-seeded Indian mixed doubles pair will face the formidable third-seeded Brazilian duo of Hugo Calderano and Bruna Takahashi.
