The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), a popular T10 cricket tournament, is set to kick off its third season with an expanded player trials process. As of October 7, 2025, the league has expanded its trials to 101 cities across India, nearly doubling the reach from the previous season's 55 cities. This wider net aims to unearth cricket talent from every corner of the country.
The ISPL, featuring eight celebrity-owned teams, will be held in Surat from January 9 to February 6, 2026. The tournament has received over 4.4 million player registrations this year, reflecting the growing excitement and reach of the league. The MVP of the tournament will be awarded a Porsche 911, adding to the allure of the competition.
The trials have spread beyond major cities like Mumbai and Delhi to smaller towns, ensuring that cricketers from every region of India get a fair chance to showcase their skills. The league has also introduced new initiatives, such as the Home Trials, where selectors visit players' hometowns to conduct trials, and an expanded squad size of 18 players, including two mandatory under-19 spots.
