Indiana basketball guard Josh Harris has announced his intention to enter the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. He joins teammates Jason Drake and Jasai Miles in seeking new opportunities. The Hoosiers faced significant roster turnover with six players graduating and only three incoming freshmen.
Harris' 2025-26 season was cut short by a lower-body injury sustained in September. Despite being on the injury report, coach Darian DeVries indicated he was progressing towards a return. The athletic 6-foot-8 forward impressed the staff with his physicality and promise.
Before Indiana, Harris showcased his talent at North Florida, averaging 13.4 points and 7.1 rebounds. He was the only freshman in Division I to record at least 400 points and 200 rebounds with strong shooting efficiency. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Indiana opted out of postseason play after missing the NCAA Tournament. Coach DeVries is now focused on rebuilding the team's roster for the upcoming season.
